Adaptive Portfolio Design

Below are samples of the steps taken while redesigning this portfolio site. The one goal of this site is to present the body of my work to prospective clients and employers, without clutter or distraction. From the color scheme to the ultra modern layout, the site is a simple yet highly effective wrapper for my display of work.

The site utilizes 4 breakpoints (xs,sm,md,lrg) to accomodate an array of devices. The responsive navigation scheme, uses a fixed botttom nav for xs devices, while med-lrg devices utilize a fixed top nav (the smaller devices benefit from a bottom navigation: proximity to thumb, while med-lrg devices benefit from increased screen estate and can afford fixed top navigation: proximity to index finger).

There was no need for marketing or heavy branding at this point, in the future, updates may be supportive of cross interest promotions with my other independent projects.

The site was designed and prototyped in Adobe Xd. I choose boostrap 4 as the framework, it fits in with my workflow seamlessly. The site was assembled using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP.
